Abla runs a small bakery in Casablanca, where she lives with her eight-year-old daughter Warda. One day, Samia knocks on her door, desperately trying to find work and shelter. A lonely woman in advanced stages of pregnancy struggles to find support in conservative Moroccan society. Initially, Abla rejects her harshly, but eventually, she reluctantly offers a helping hand. A strong bond begins to form between the women, who are used to masking pain with pride.

Film Kryštof (2021)
Kryštof fled among the monks not only for faith in God but also to escape from conflicts with his father and the political situation after the February coup. Alongside monastic life, he is also one of the last links in the chain that transports those persecuted by the communist regime across the border to Germany. Gradually, he finds himself in the situation of a desperate fugitive and is helped by Johana at her farm on the outskirts of a village near Šumava.
