FILM MONASTERY
The tragicomic film tells the story of Mr. Vig, an educated eighty-two-year-old bachelor, and Sister Amvrosia, a Russian nun who appears in his life by chance or divine intervention. Mr. Vig owns a dilapidated castle in the Danish countryside. He has dreamed all his life of establishing a monastery in the castle. ⛪
He was used to living alone and without women, and suddenly he is living under the same roof with the determined Sister Amvrosia and her sisters.
The relationship between Mr. Vig and Sister Amvrosia shows that Christian love goes much deeper than the surface represented by everyday conflicts. ❤️

Eleven-year-old Tonda has a unique trait - he shines from birth. His possibly overly caring parents try to keep him at home to protect him from the outside world. ☀️
That changes when before Christmas a mysterious girl named Slávka moves into one of the neighboring apartments, turning his world upside down.
